The Game Crafter is a new company offering print-on-demand services for both established and aspiring game designers. The website features a handful of videos that explain the cost estimates for publishing a game; how to upload art, rules and gameboards; and how to publicize your game on the site. Each game is printed and assembled only when ordered, with the game designer and The Game Crafter splitting any profits from the sale; game designers can order copies of their own games at cost.
Three titles are currently available on the site, all of them designed by the folks behind The Game Crafter, and the company’s J.T. Smith promises that at least five titles will be available by August, with the company appearing at the Gen Con game convention to display those games and meet with designers.
